I met Joan at a makers market and loved her work so much I asked her to paint a portrait of my dog as a surprise gift for my girlfriend. She did a fantastic job, really capturing Lola’s personality, myself and my girlfriend absolutely love it. It’s now hung pride of place in our living room. Thanks Joan

With about a week left to our wedding anniversary I finally happened upon  Joan’s web page and her lovely prints and after a few e-mails the print was on it’s way! Postage from the UK to Ireland was very reasonable, the Print and frame arrived in good time and my wife Yvonne was absolutely thrilled with it. Cue great brownie points for weeks to follow

What A Lovely Lady To Buy From

Firstly, talent aside, what a lovely lady to buy from. Brilliant, personal communication….. makes all the difference. I bought the fox apron for a dear fox-mad lady. It arrived beautifully packaged and presented. The fabric is lovely, sturdy enough to last on a hard working garment. The straps can be adjusted for a perfect fit. But the real wow is the artwork. Truly, it’s stunning! You feel like you can make eye contact with the fox and even stroke his /her coat. I can highly recommend this apron, it’s superb!

As usual Joan has come up with a seasonal delight. I have purchsed this little framed robin to send to an elderley cousin in lieu of the traditinal Christmas card. I so love the additinal “sparkle” he has. I will be ordering a few more. (One of which I will be keeping for myself).

Badger Print

Gary bought me a Billy no Mates badger print for Christmas 2019, which I absolutely adored. We have badgers in our garden and Joan totally captured the way they look down the garden. I loved it so much he bought me Mr Brambles Hare for my birthday. I treated myself to Red Head fox print a short while ago.

They are beautifully painted, but what I really like is the way Joan has captured expression in their eyes. I have them hung together and they look fabulous.

We love art, and have both prints and originals by a number of artists, some very well known. Joan’s work does not look out of place. I don’t hesitate to recommend Joan’s work – it is beautiful to look at, and I will certainly be keeping my eye on her website for new work.

“Elvis” Apron and Scruffy Dog Story

I’ve been an admirer of Joan’s art since the summer and I knew I wanted to get something special from her. When I saw she had written and illustrated a book, I was all in.

The Scruffy Dog Story is a sweet, and beautifully illustrated story about a dog looking for his home. Coupled with songs that have the musical arrangements, this book quickly becomes an interactive classic. Truly a delight to read for young and old.

I also bought a printed apron, having fallen in love with Elvis the rooster. The apron I received was of incredible high quality, fits me beautifully and showcases the rooster art perfectly. I’m so glad I bought these lovely items from Joan and I look forward to purchasing more art and books from her in the future.

Flamingo Coaster & Card Set

I purchased the flamingo coaster and card set for my cousin as we have a flamingo thing going on! It’s a great value gift (Joan wrote the card on my behalf). My cousin loved it and said it really brightened up her day. Personally I think I’ve really upped the stakes on how she can outdo this particular flamingo! Lovely piece of art thanks Joan.

Joan wraps everything beautifully

I have known Joan since her Music with Mummy days when I took my now 18 year old granddaughter. These weekly classes were excellent and I’m very happy that Joan is now a very successful artist. I have bought her lovely cards and glass coasters and have now treated myself to one her beautiful aprons. This is very good quality and has a stag painted on the front. Joan pays much attention to detail and wraps everything beautifully. The service I received was first class.

Horse and Rabbit Commission

I came across Joan’s work thanks to my daughter who studies in the Midlands and offered me some items from Joan. I immediately loved them! So I decided to contact Joan to get two paintings for my daughter’s 20th birthday in December: her beloved horse and our tiny rabbit.

And I had no regret! Despite the kms between Joan and me (10.000kms!), we exchanged photos, questions, answers and the results were just fantastic! As a professional she asked the perfect questions to capture the best of our loved ones. And she was so generous to organise a surprise meeting with my daughter so that she could receive the two paintings as I could not make it.

We are fully happy and are im love with the two spendid and trueful paintings by Joan. Many thanks again and again!
