Take some time out to relax, create, and reconnect with the beautiful surroundings of Rudyard Lake, Staffordshire, on this fun and inspiring watercolour retreat. Perfect for beginners or those looking to build confidence and improve their skills, this day is all about creative play and enjoying the process of painting.

Theme: Cottage and Umbrella
Paintings: You’ll create two watercolours:

A cosy cottage with a flowering garden
A walking figure with an umbrella on a path
Both paintings are suitable for beginners, with optional pre-drawn outlines for anyone who prefers guidance, while more confident painters are welcome to draw freely. You’ll explore watercolour techniques such as layering, washes, textures, and simple perspective — all in a relaxed, supportive environment.
Lunch & Refreshments:
The buffet lunch is freshly prepared on site by the tearoom, with vegetarian and meat options, plus freshly baked cakes. Unlimited tea and coffee are included.
